Our Story

First Tracks™ was born waist-deep in powder on the island of Hokkaido, a place where storms refill the mountain every night, the snow feels like magic, and every lift ride carries the electric possibility of another perfect run. Between bottomless powder laps, late-night ramen sessions, and the kind of chairlift conversations that only happen when you can’t stop smiling, we realized something: skiing is more than just a sport, it is the key to feeling fully and truly alive.

And that feeling fades too quickly when the lifts stop spinning.

We wondered, what if we could make ski season never end?

And on our last evening, as the full moon rose over Mt. Yotei, a fox appeared right beside us. And in that moment of silence, the idea for First Tracks™ began to take shape.

We decided to put big-mountain energy into a card game and to give you all a little hit of winter whenever you need it. Whether it’s mid-summer, raining sideways, or you’re counting down the days until opening weekend, First Tracks™ delivers.

First Tracks™ is a tribute to the best trip we ever had, to the mountains that sparked it, and to every skier and boarder who wishes winter never ended.
