What is First Tracks™ ?
Inspired by mountain life, First Tracks™ takes the one thing we all dread…waiting in lift lines…and turns it into a fast, social, and competitive card game.
Your goal is simple: build the best crew of Riders on the mountain. The problem? Your friends are after the same Riders… and they’re not afraid to shake up the line to get them.
How You Play (It’s Easy, We Promise)
On your turn:
Play a Kicker card (if you want) to mess with the line, get points, or sabotage your opponents
Collect the Rider card from the front of the Lift Line
Draw a Kicker card from the top of the deck
That’s it. Quick turns, no complicated rules.
But It’s Not That Simple…
There are five types of Rider cards, so you’ll have to decide:
Do you grab the highest point Rider right now?
Do you go for a better long term combo?
Do you block your friends from getting exactly what they need?
Some cards shake things up instantly, while others stick around and keep affecting the game. Used cards go into the Parking Lot (the discard pile)… and yes, sometimes that comes back to haunt you.
Deciding when to act, and what to take, is where the strategy comes in.
Gameplay takes place over 3 Days (rounds), and every day feels different because the line is always changing.
At the beginning of each day, 12 new Riders line up from the top of the deck. You will then compete with your friends to grab the best Riders in line until day end. A day ends when the Lift Line is exhausted or an event is triggered that ends the round.
How You Win
At the end of Day 3, total the points from all Rider cards at your Base, then apply any modifiers from your Kicker cards. If you have the highest score, you win! Bragging rights included.
